The Archipelago cruise from Turku with vessel m/s Ruissalo offers a sea voyage full of interesting sights. The trip starts from the Martinsilta bridge by the Aura River in Turku. During the journey the group will be accompanied by a tour guide. During the cruise we will pass the legendary city ferry “Föri”, which sails across the river from Turku to Åbo and back, Turku guest harbour, the beautiful buildings of the maritime centre Forum Marinum, the historical Turku Castle, the busy passenger harbour and Ruissalo Island with its beautiful old wooden villas and oak woods. After cruising for about an hour we will reach our destination and the vessel will dock at the recreational area Kansanpuisto Park in Ruissalo.

A tasty lunch is enjoyed  in the Aurinko (Sun) Restaurant of the park. After the meal the guide takes the group to the groups' own bus and the tour continues to the Botanical Gardens of the University of Turku, where we will have a guided tour. The tour ends with a cup of coffee and a pastry.

The package can be made with m/s Ruissalo either to or from Turku. On request the tour can also be made as a round trip with m/s Ruissalo (another price apply). A kiosk-café on board offers possibilities to buy refreshments during the cruise.

The package is arranged, on request, on weekdays during the cruise season 2010 . On Sundays and special Holidays higher prices apply.

To Turku you can get by plane from all over the world. There are also several ferry connections from Sweden and Åland Islands to Turku.
