The safe bike path takes you from one island to another amidst unique archipelago nature connected by several bridges or ferries. Our route starts in Parainen, continues to Nauvo and ends in bustling, attractive Turku, Finland’s oldest city, after passing through plenty of scenic landscapes as well as the picturesque old harbor village of Naantali, home of the Moomin characters.
Take your time on the route to fully enjoy the beautiful islands and their sights and attractions. As an official Finnish tourist route, the Archipelago Trail is marked with brown signboards. This route is safe, flat, easy and perfect for children of ages 12 and above. There is always something for young children to do if you don’t wish to take the full optional cycle rides. This is a great family cycling holiday for adults and children alike. The Archipelago circular route is also an ideal opportunity for hikers as well as for cars.
