The route is relatively easy with moderate daily distances. The profile of the route varies from fairly flat coastal roads to rolling hills. Each day will have at least one shorter or longer ferry crossing.

Nagu island is about from From Turku 50 km with bus or car including one ferry. Turku is easily reached by airplane from Copenhagen, Stockholm and Helsinki, train or bus from Helsinki or cruising ship from Stockholm or Åland.
