Your sailingtour starts and ends in Dalaroe, which is a nice little village in the archipelago. Many buildings here are typical old 19th century summer houses, and the place is absolutely worth seeing after you finished the sailing tour!

We start with safety instructions and introduction to the boat. Wihtin an hour, we are under sail. The most beautiful parts of Stockholm Archipelago are just around the corner. During the day we will sail through changing sceneries with thousands of skerries and islands, most of them inhabited only by nature life. The islands have shifting personalities, some of them are covered with wood or bushes, but the closer we come to the open sea, the more clean and rough the skerries are, as they are washed by wind and waves.

Sailing is the most wonderful way to experience the archipelago. Without a sound, the yacht moves smoothly through the water, leaving no trace. You can go in any direction where there is wind and water. The weather will determine what kind of experience you will get – sunny and soft or wild and windy. After a few hours of sailing, we drop the anchor sheltered by one of the islands, to let you have a walk, a dinghy tour, or go for a swim. Here, in the stillness, we will enjoy a fresh lunch. During the day you will have plenty of options to learn more about sailing as well as about the archipelago. You are welcome to take part as much as you like in the sailing action, and you will have a professional guidance!

Final destination can be Utoe instead of Dalaroe, in this case you can have dinner and stay overnight at the Utoe Inn and Restaurant. You get back by ferry and bus or cab to Stockholm city the next day. Utoe is an island known for it´s beauty and is in direct contact with the open sea.

The boat, a Linjett 35, is very easy to handle. If you are a skilled sailor, you will love to handle the boat. If you have less experience or none, you will get the chance to feel what real sailing is about. There is plenty of space in the cockpit for everybody. The skipper, Birgitta, is a very skilled sailor, who has been teaching sailing to adults for more than 20 years. She has a life-long knowledge of the archipelago and a big love for sharing sailing with her guests.

This tour is perfect for the family who wants to make an exciting experience together into the best part of archipelago nature. Suitable also for small groups, up to six persons. Everybody, irrespective of age, strenght and experience can take part, but children younger than 5 years old is not advisable to bring.

The skipper has relevant competence for charter, and the boat is registered and insured for commercial sailing. The boat has a very high standard,  and is wellknown for it´s supreme sailing and construction qualities. Onboard you find toilet/bathroom, warm water, electricity for charging laptops and telephones, shower, and a fully equipped kitchen. We have electronic navigational aid, radio and full security equipment. The boat is comfortable and cosy inside (where we will have lunch in case of cold or rainy weather).

By commuter train to Handen and bus 869 to Dalaroe (one hour from Stockholm Central Station) or by car/cab (about 40 minutes from City center).

550 euro/boat, including two guests, plus 50 euro per additional guest.

Fully equipped yacht, skipper, waterproof sailing clothes and lifewests for everybody,  fuel, harbour fees. Lunch on board,  coffe/tea at start and in the afternoon.

To be safe on the boat please wear soft shoes with rubber soles, for example jogging shoes. Don´t forget sunshield, swimming suit and sunglasses!

Invoice must be settled at latest one week before the tour takes place, except for very late bookings. A booking fee of 100 euro is asked if the tour is booked more than three weeks in advance.

No reimbursement if the tour is cancelled by the customer, but we can offer a cancellation insurance in case you have to cancel the tour, for 6% of the total price. If the tour has to be cancelled by Vind & Vatten, because of safety risk or other reasons we cannot predict, all fees will be reimbursed. We do not cancel for rain or weahter we consider is safe for the customers, but tour route is always dependent on the weather. Tough weather can be fantastic, and the boat is very secure.
