The entire tour is 30 km long and is carried out as a kayak racing/sports event with a common start. Start and finish is at Sandösund next to Sandösunds camping. The different classes, fitness and racing, let you decide whether you want to give everything your strength allows or if you prefer to go at your own pace and just enjoy the magnificent scenery the archipelago offers.

You get to The Åland Islands by ferry or by airplane. To get to Åland by ferry find more information at the Viking Line FERRY or Eckerö Linjen FERRY timetables. If you prefer to travel by air you can find information at the Air Åland timetables.

From the town of Mariehamn there’s a 45 min car or bus ride to the ferry connection, Hummelvik-Vårdö. Vårdö has an ongoing connection with the main land by a cable ferry.
