Terms and Conditions
1. Book a reservation by filling in the booking form available at www.kayaks.fi/contact. Upon receiving your booking we will contact you by emailing note of confirmation including the invoice.
2. The tour fee must be paid in full on the due date. By paying the invoice amount the client accepts the booking terms and conditions.
3. If Kayaking Adventures Finland has not received the entire sum on the due date it reserves the right to cancel your booking.
4. Cancellations by the client must be done in writing and sent to the following e-mail address:

We recommend that you take out insurance to cover travel cancellation.
5. Table of cancellation charges with notice of days prior to departure:
More then 21 days before departure = Full refund.
21 days - 48 hours prior to departure = Full refund except for 250 Euro.
48 hours or less = No refund
6. When paying the invoice after carefully reading and understanding the conditions you accept the risks and dangers this type of activity can entail, including postponements, inconvenience, disease, injury and loss of property. You thereby also confirm that you are physically and mentally capable of taking part in the activities chosen tour.
7. Kayak Adventures Finland cannot be held responsible for misplaced, lost or damaged luggage. All luggage and cargo including that which is transported by vehicles, persons or animals employed by the company is the responsibility of the participant for the duration of the course.
8. All bookings must be done through Kayaking Adventures Finland who is identified as the company in this text.
9. The company will do everything in its power to en sure that the scheduled tour is realised.
However, given the nature of this kind of activity a certain degree of risk is inherent on account of possible changes due to weather, subcontractors or communications. The company does not accept liability for any extra costs or other consequences that entail from such alterations of the programme.
10. The company or its employees reserve the right to alter prior travel descriptions, destinations or activities if they think that the realisation of the published programme will entail unacceptable risks.
11. If a participant leaves the course/tour during an ongoing activity he or she is not entitled to compensation without prior agreement with Kayak Adventures Finland.
12. The instructors and the size of the group can be subject to change. In such circumstances the company will notify the customer.
13. The company reserves the right to cancel tours if an insufficient number of participants sign up and the expedition is rendered financially unsound. The minimum number of participants is mentioned within tour details on the Kayak Tours page.
14. Participants are entitled to full compensation of any paid sum if the company cancels the tour.
15. The company or any of its employees cannot be responsible for disease, injury or death during activities arranged by the company.
16. The company cannot be held responsible for the consequences of strikes, war, civil strife, disease, governmental intervention, weather or any other type of unfortunate circumstance.
17. The company recommends that you take out adequate insurance for all tours. We suggest that the following be taken into consideration when choosing an to insurance policy.
- Medical assistance and repatriation
- Cancellation protection
- Loss or theft of property
- Personal accident insurance
- Personal liability insurance
- Risk sport coverage
- Evacuation expenses
- Legal expenses
18. When you pay the invoice for the tour and at the beginning of the tour sign the disclaimer form it is tacitly acknowledged that you understand the terms and conditions and accept them.
19. All prices given in the www.kayaks.fi include VAT.
