Product description

The Naantali Music Festival starts the series of summer festivals in Finland. The old idyllic wooden houses, the medieval Convent Church and high-class restaurant and accommodation services in Naantali/Nådendal provides a unique setting for a memorable musical experience. The festival programme consists of more than 20 high-class concerts in the old Convent Church and in the smaller churches in the region. Night concerts, cruise to Kökar Island (in the Åland Islands), concerts with a dinner in Restaurant Naantalin Kaivohuone, concerts in a park and music for children.

The artistic director, cellist Arto Noras compiles an excellent programme including the most beautiful chamber music, old and new, from near and far, performed by top artists.

How to get there

Naantali is located half an hour's drive from Turku. Drive your car from Helsinki along the E18 and take the exit to Naantali. Or first arrive in Turku by plane, ship, train or bus and continue to Naantali.

Buses from Turku to Naantali
From Turku Market Square to Naantali on bus lines 11 and 110. Timetables for lines 11 and 110.

Turku Airport, tel. +358 20 708 4717. The local bus line 1 takes you from the airport to Turku Market Square, from where bus lines 11 and 110 continue to Naantali. Timetable for line 1

Turku railway station
The main railway station (no direct bus connection to Naantali) and Kupittaa station, from where the bus line 110 takes you directly to Naantali. Train timetables and prices, tel. 0600 41 902.

You can take a Viking Line or Silja Line boat from Stockholm to the Port of Turku. The local bus line 1 takes you to Turku Market Square, from where bus lines 11 and 110 continue to Naantali. Finnlines takes you to the Port of Naantali from Kapellskär in Sweden.
