Product description

We offer a selection of houses and cabins for hire, on Ljusterö and in the surrounding areas. Ljusterö is located in the central Stockholm archipelago. It is a fairly large island that is easy to get to by car; a car ferry from the mainland runs several times per hour. The beauty of the island is ever changing; from nature reserves with their stone-age rocks, polished by water and glaciers, to leafy forests filled with mushrooms and berries. The view over the waters, all the way to Stockholm, from Ljusterö Huvud goes on for miles, and the sea is constantly present here. It offers great experiences like swimming and fishing as well as breathtaking sunsets, dancing sunlight, waves, seals and swans.

On Ljusterö Skärgårdscenter’s website, there is tourist information as well as the facility to buy tickets to various events. We also offer holiday packages.
