Once upon a time the lighthouse keeper's family lived in the house we call Fyrvaktarstugan. Since then the house has gone through a noticeable facelift and is now a very charming and comfortable house. Fyrvaktarstugan has a wonderful view over the sea and is situated in the heart of the beautiful surroundings of the village of Käringsund. The winter-fitted house offers 160 m2 living area on two floors with a large yard and is suitable for a maximum of eight people.

Fyrvaktarstugan is available from April to December.

You get to The Åland Islands by ferry or by airplane. To get to Åland by ferry find more information in the Viking Line FERRY or Eckerö Linjen FERRY timetables. If you prefer to travel by air you can find information in the Air Åland AIRPLANE timetables.

Information about Fyrvaktarstugan: The living area is 160 m2 on two floors. There are five bedrooms, one bathroom and one separate toilet. On the ground floor there’s a kitchen with a dining area for eight people, a fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave and a toaster. In the living room there’s a three-piece sofa suite, TV and CD-radio. There’s one bedroom with two single beds and one bathroom with toilet, shower and a sauna as well as a washing machine. On the top floor there’s a toilet and four bedrooms, two with double beds and two with single beds. Baby Crib and highchair is available. The house also has a veranda and a sunny terrace with garden furniture and a barbeque place.
